PHOENIX – Tech firm Showit recently signed a lease for a new corporate headquarters in downtown Chandler.
The East Valley company is taking over a 30,257-square-foot space in The Johnathan, an office building at 55 N. Arizona Place, near the intersection of Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard.
The Johnathan was extensively renovated five years ago. It shares an array of amenities — including a fitness center with a yoga studio, a dog patio and a gaming area with bocce ball — with The Alexander, its sister building next door.
Showit CEO excited about new Chandler headquarters
CEO Todd Watson helped found Showit, a drag-and-drop platform for building websites, in 2006. The company is expected to move into The Johnathan in February 2026.
“The Johnathan puts us in the center of a vibrant and walkable downtown, within a recently reimagined building that truly reflects who we are — innovative, collaborative and energized,” Watson said in a press release last week. “We’re excited to begin our company’s next chapter in a setting that elevates our culture, attracts talent and inspires innovation.”
The Phoenix office of commercial real estate firm JLL facilitated the lease deal.
“The Johnathan is uniquely qualified to support Showit’s focus on creativity and technology,” JLL Vice President Kyle Seeger said in the release. “It is premiere office space in a submarket with decreasing vacancies and limited new supply, and a growing list of tech and innovation companies that are choosing Chandler as home.”
